HVAC, Heating & Plumbing Company in Solana Beach, California

Solana Beach homes face salty ocean air that corrodes outdoor condensers and damp mornings that invite mold in ductwork. Our team handles ductless mini split installation for older beach bungalows without ducts, fast heat pump repair when efficiency drops, and thorough air duct cleaning that clears dust and allergens. Whether you live near the Cedros Design District or above San Elijo Lagoon, we arrive prepared to fix it right.

Furnace Installation & Replacement

If your furnace runs loud, cycles constantly, or drives up gas bills, we size and install an energy-efficient replacement that heats each room evenly.

Furnace Maintenance

A yearly furnace checkup cleans the burners, tests the safety controls, and swaps filters, so your system starts reliably when cool winter nights hit.

Furnace Repair

Strange smells, short cycling, or a blower that will not shut off call for prompt furnace repair, and our technicians diagnose the problem accurately.

Heat Pump Installation & Replacement

A modern heat pump heats and cools with one energy-efficient system, and our installers select the proper capacity for your home’s layout and comfort.

Heat Pump Maintenance

Regular heat pump service clears coil grime, checks refrigerant levels, and tests the reversing valve so your heating and cooling stay solid all year.

Heat Pump Repair

When your heat pump freezes up, hums without actually running, or pushes lukewarm air, we pinpoint the faulty part and restore efficient comfort fast.

AC Installation & Replacement

Replacing a tired air conditioner with an efficient model lowers energy bills, and we handle sizing, permits, and clean installs from start to finish.

AC Maintenance

Our AC tune-ups clean the coils, tighten wire connections, and flush drain lines, helping your system cool evenly through the hottest weeks of summer.

AC Repair

Lukewarm air from vents, unfamiliar noises, or water collecting near the indoor unit are warning signals, and we repair the cause before it escalates.

Ductless Mini Split Installation

Ductless mini splits bring quiet comfort room by room to additions and older homes without ducts, using slim indoor heads and efficient outdoor units.

Air Duct Cleaning

Over time, dust, pet dander, and residue accumulate inside ductwork, so we vacuum and disinfect the system to increase airflow and indoor air quality.

Attic Insulation

Adding attic insulation keeps heat from escaping in winter and blocks solar gain in summer, easing the workload on your heating and cooling equipment.

HVAC UV Light Installation

HVAC UV lights positioned by the coil neutralize mold, bacteria, and viruses as air circulates, giving your family cleaner, fresher air in every room.

Drain Cleaning

Slow sinks, gurgling toilets, and repeat backups point to buildup in your lines, so our drain cleaning clears clogs safely without damaging the pipes.

Tankless Water Heater Installation & Replacement

A tankless water heater delivers continuous hot water on demand while reclaiming garage space, and we install gas and electric systems to local codes.

Water Heater Repair

Lukewarm showers, noisy tanks, or rusty water often mean a failing part, and our plumbers repair thermostats, valves, and elements on the first visit.

Water Heater Replacement & Installation

Whenever an aging tank starts leaking or falls behind, we haul it off and install a properly sized, energy-efficient water heater that same afternoon.

What Your Neighbors Are Saying About Us

What a great company! You can tell by the incredible employees. I needed to get both a new AC and Heating unit. They educated me so that I had options and learned what I needed vs. what I didn't need aka helping me save a lot of money! They gave me and incredible price along with incredible service and they worked really hard to get the job done quickly for me. I highly recommend!

Friars was fantastic. I took a long time to decide what to do with our house because we needed everything: a new furnace and new AC, and I was stunned at the sticker shock of all the estimates I had. Everyone suggested mini splits for our house, but Alex and Carlos really took the time to explain both the benefits and downsides to all the different options.

Wow!! A+ 5 Stars ⭐️ We got a brand new ac installed and furnace moved up to attach. Friars team was AMAZING! From the first consult to the end of service installation. Rick was super polite and informative regarding the system. Friars was the first quote we received and I cancelled all appts after with other companies. They are professional, polite and provide a quote on the spot.

Hands down, great company. Fair price. Straight forward. The technician was prompt and polite. Everything was professionally 10/10 would recommend!

Friars just completed replacing my furnace and air condition. The installers are 1st rate. They are polite, went right to work, finished on time and patiently explained how to use the equipment …very professional. I would recommend Friars with Mora and his team anytime.

Wonderful customer service and professionalism. Very impressed with the whole process from initial phone call with Jennifer, to the install of new AC and furnace, to the complimentary tune up 6 months later.
